23rd EVER Congress

The European Association for Vision and Eye Research (EVER) is holding its 23rd Congress in Valencia, Spain on October 13-15, 2022. Leading researchers in in the field of ophthalmology and visual sciences from all across Europe will get together for the first time after 2 years of pandemic induced cancellation of the in-person meeting.

Thomas Ritter from TBMED partner NUIG will give a presentation on "Mesenchymal stromal cell therapy to modulate corneal allograft rejection: from bench to bedside" in the session "Novel insights into corneal neovascularization and transplant immunology" on Thursday, October 13. And another presentation on "New approaches to improving corneal transplant survival in a pre-clinical model" in session "VISICORT - Adverse immune signatures and their prevention in corneal transplantation" on Friday 14 which will be closely related to their work in the TBMED project.
