SUPERHUMAN - exhibition featuring Keratoprosthesis

Welcome to SUPERHUMAN, an exhibit celebrating collaboration, creativity and innovation in medical technology (medtech) research in Ireland. This exhibition by CÚRAM (the SFI Research Centre for Medical Devices - a national centre based at University of Galway), in collaboration with Galway City Museum, showcases the development of Galway and Ireland as a medtech hub and explains how we can all play a part in driving research forward.

CURAM is also a partner in TBMED and together with AJL and Cidetec are developing a novel artificial cornea or Keratoprosthesis to restore vision in patients with severe corneal damage or disease.
